Ghana-US extradition arrangement favours America – Al Farouk Al Wahab

International relations expert Al Farouk Al Wahab has criticised what he described as an imbalance in extradition arrangements between Ghana and the United States.

Speaking on Kessben FM, Al Farouk Al Wahab claimed that the extradition process appears to work more in favour of the United States, arguing that American authorities are able to extradite suspects from Ghana more easily than Ghana can do in return.

He expressed frustration over the situation, stating that Ghana has not positioned itself strongly enough in international agreements and diplomacy.

According to him, the imbalance reflects weaknesses in the country’s approach to international negotiations and legal cooperation.

The international relations expert further called for a review of bilateral agreements to ensure fairness and mutual respect between the two countries.
