3 dead, 20 injured in fatal crash on Kumasi–Accra Highway

A crash between a Mitsubishi Outlander and a Benz Sprinter near the Rider Iron and Steel Company on the Kumasi-Accra Highway has resulted in 3 deaths and 20 injuries.

The accident happened at Odumasi-Ohene Nkwanta. The Mitsubishi Outlander, with registration number DV G8180, was driven by Richmond Kuman. The driver of the Benz Sprinter, with registration number GE6024-22, has not been identified.

Emergency responders found three deceased males at the scene and handed them over to the Police MTTD in Konongo. The 20 injured people were taken to Hope Care Hospital, Asante Akim Central Municipal Hospital, and RIS Hospital.
