NDC has 2 & a half years left, they can’t finish the proposed Accra- Kumasi Expressway – Beatrice Owarewaa (Nana Yaa)

Beatrice Owarewaa, popularly known as Nana Yaa and a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has cast doubt on the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s ability to complete the proposed Accra-Kumasi Expressway within its remaining time in office.

Speaking on Kessben FM, Nana Yaa stated that the NDC government has only about two and a half years left before the next general elections, making it difficult to fully execute such a major infrastructure project within the limited period.

According to her, large-scale road projects like the Accra-Kumasi Expressway require extensive planning, funding, and implementation, which she believes cannot be completed before the end of the government’s term.

She questioned the feasibility of the promise and urged Ghanaians to critically assess the timelines attached to major campaign pledges.
