Security Alert: At least you should have one police friend in your life – DSP Bright Acheampong
DSP Bright Acheampong has advised the public to build closer relationships with security personnel as part of personal safety awareness.
Speaking on Amansan Tie on Kessben FM with host Kwabena Owusu Dankwah (KOD), DSP Bright Acheampong issued what he described as a “security alert,” encouraging individuals to maintain at least one friendship with a police officer.
He explained that having access to someone within the security service can help citizens better understand safety issues, respond quickly to emergencies, and receive guidance on crime prevention.
DSP Acheampong stressed that the advice was not about favoritism, but about improving community-police relations and enhancing public safety through communication and trust.
