Upper Manya Krobo MP applauds Mahama for Asesewa 24-hour market project

The Member of Parliament for Upper Manya Krobo, Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko, has expressed deep appreciation to former President John Dramani Mahama for spearheading the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of the proposed 24-hour economy market at Asesewa.

As part of Mr. Mahama’s Resetting Ghana Tour in the Eastern Region, the MP described the initiative as a historic milestone in the development of the constituency.

“On behalf of the people of Upper Manya Krobo, I express our sincere appreciation for the successful sod-cutting ceremony to commence the construction of the 24-hour economy market at Asesewa,” he stated.

Mr. Nyarko emphasized that the project demonstrates a strong commitment to inclusive economic growth, adding that it will empower local businesses and significantly improve livelihoods within the area.

“The proposed 24-hour market will boost commercial activities, create jobs, and position Asesewa as a vibrant economic hub within the Eastern Region,” he noted.

He further commended Mr. Mahama’s leadership and acknowledged the role of the Ministry of Local Government and other stakeholders in bringing the project to life.

“The presence of government officials and stakeholders at the ceremony underscores the importance of this initiative to national development,” he added.

The MP assured full support from the people of Upper Manya Krobo throughout the implementation phase, expressing confidence that the project will deliver long-term socio-economic benefits.

“We remain committed to supporting this initiative and are confident that its successful completion will benefit not only our constituency but the country as a whole,” he concluded.
