President Mahama touches down in Brazzaville for Sassou N’Guesso inauguration

President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo, to attend the inauguration of President Denis Sassou N’Guesso, following his re-election for another five-year term.
President Mahama’s trip comes shortly after he launched the government’s flagship Free Primary Health Care Programme in Dodowa, marking a swift transition from a major domestic policy rollout to a key regional diplomatic engagement.
President Mahama is expected to join several African leaders and dignitaries at Thursday morning’s ceremony, where President Sassou N’Guesso will be officially sworn into office.
He is scheduled to depart Brazzaville immediately after the event and return to Accra.
