Don’t mock too soon – Rev Vincent Kankam cites Real Madrid UCL exit as lesson
Ghanaian pastor Rev Vincent Kankam has urged the public to refrain from mocking others, using recent developments in the UEFA Champions League as a lesson in humility.
Speaking on his Food For Thought show on Kessben FM, Rev Kankam referenced the elimination of Real Madrid, noting that some of their fans had earlier overmocked FC Barcelona after their exit from the competition at the hands of Atlético Madrid.
He pointed out that within a short time, fortunes changed when Real Madrid themselves were knocked out following a 4–3 defeat to Bayern Munich.
According to Rev Kankam, the sequence of events serves as a reminder that people should be mindful in how they treat others, as circumstances can quickly change.
“Do not be quick to mock others if you have not seen what lies ahead for you,” he advised, emphasizing the importance of humility and empathy in everyday life.
