Mahama lied to Imams and Pastors into Gov’t over LGBTQ, He should quickly come out and apologize – Dr. Keskine Owusu Poku

Member of the NPP communications team, Dr. Keskine Owusu Poku, has called on President John Dramani Mahama to apologise to religious leaders, accusing him of misleading them ahead of assuming office.
Speaking on the NDC’s posture on LGBTQ issues since coming into government, Dr. Owusu Poku alleged that promises made to Imams and Pastors were not upheld, creating disappointment among sections of the religious community.
He argued that the President should take responsibility and publicly apologise, insisting that transparency and honesty are crucial in leadership, especially on sensitive national matters.
His remarks come amid ongoing political discussions over the government’s handling of LGBTQ-related concerns, with differing views emerging from various stakeholders across the country.
