The way the hardship has begun under the NDC Gov’t, if we don’t pray, people may begin selling their children to survive – Kwadwo Banahene Bediako

Former District Chief Executive for Sekyere Central District, Kwadwo Banahene Bediako, has expressed deep concern over rising economic hardship, warning of severe social consequences if conditions do not improve.
Speaking on Kessben FM with host Wofa Kofi Appiah, Mr. Bediako criticized the current administration, led by the National Democratic Congress (NDC), over what he described as worsening living conditions.
“The way the hardship has begun under the NDC government, if we don’t pray, people may begin selling their children,” he said.
His remarks highlight growing public anxiety over the cost of living and economic pressures facing many households. While some observers view such statements as political rhetoric, others say they reflect genuine concerns about unemployment, inflation, and poverty levels.
