Just look at the uncompleted Suame Interchange. You can give NPP 100 years in government, they still cannot complete a project, especially in Ashanti Region – Nelson Issaka Yamba

The District Chief Executive for Ahafo Ano South East, Nelson Issaka Yamba, has strongly criticized the erstwhile government, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), over delays in completing the Suame Interchange.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Mr. Yamba expressed frustration over what he described as the NPP government’s inability to deliver key infrastructure projects in the Ashanti Region. He argued that the prolonged construction of the interchange reflects a broader pattern of unfulfilled promises.
“Just look at the uncompleted Suame Interchange. You can give NPP 100 years in government, they still cannot complete a project, especially in Ashanti Region,” he stated during the interview.
The Suame Interchange project, considered a critical development to ease traffic congestion in Kumasi, has faced multiple delays, drawing criticism from both political figures and residents.
Mr. Yamba’s comments add to the ongoing political debate over infrastructure delivery and development priorities, as parties continue to trade blame over stalled and delayed projects across the country.
