The Harvest Is Overripe”: Pastor Appiakorang Urges Urgent Missionary Mobilization
Story By Michael Ofosu-Afriyie, Kumasi.

Executive Director of RESCUE M INTERNATIONAL, Pastor James Appiakorang has called for urgent missionary mobilization across the world.
He noted that unlike the days when Jesus declared that “the harvest is ripe,” current global events indicate that the harvest is now “overripe,” demanding greater urgency and action from the Body of Christ.
Calling on churches and Christian Organizations to prioritize the training and equipping of more missionaries for the end-time harvest, Pst. Appiakorang who is on long term missions in the Middle East, noted that the Great Commission remains God’s greatest priority.
He was speaking during the launch of RESCUE M INTERNATIONAL, a missions organization founded in Ghana, West Africa, is driven by what it describes as the LIFEGUARD Mandate.

This mandate teaches that every Christian has a responsibility to safeguard lost souls by reconciling them to God through Jesus Christ, and to care for weary hearts by leading them into true soul nourishment found in Him.
The organization also partners with churches and Christian bodies to organize crusades, as well as train and support missionaries, particularly across Africa and Asia.
The Executive Director emphasized that the time has come for the Church to fully embrace its divine responsibility of rescuing the perishing and caring for the dying—a mandate given by Christ.
“We cannot claim to be Christians and hold on to scriptures that promise prosperity and good health while neglecting the clear command to go into the world and make disciples,” he stressed.
