A second-hand clothes trader and single mother, Portia Akoto, has shared her emotional journey of resilience and determination after losing her husband, revealing how she worked tirelessly to educate her children despite never attending school herself.

Speaking on the “Mmaa Nkabi” show on Kessben TV with host Akua Yeboah, Portia recounted the challenges she faced raising her children alone while running a second-hand clothing business.

“I did not go to school, so I told myself I would ensure my children get the education I never had,” she said.
