Ghana’s New High Commissioner to Guyana Presents Credentials

Georgetown, Guyana – Nii Amasah Namoale, Ghana’s newly appointed High Commissioner to Guyana, has formally begun his diplomatic mission after presenting his Letters of Commission to the President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana at the State House in Georgetown on March 17, 2026.

Representing President John Dramani Mahama, Mr Namoale expressed Ghana’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Guyana, focusing on trade, investment, and cultural exchange.

The ceremony marked a significant step in enhancing diplomatic ties between the two nations. As High Commissioner, Mr Namoale is expected to foster collaboration and advance shared development goals with Guyanese authorities.
