Story by: Derrick Owusu

Charles Nana Kwabena Kesse, popularly known as Nana K, marked this year’s Eid al-Fitr celebrations with a series of visits to Muslim communities across the Agona East Constituency, where he engaged and celebrated with New Patriotic Party (NPP) Muslim polling station executives and Nasara coordinators.

The outreach formed part of efforts to strengthen unity and show appreciation to grassroots party members who play key roles in local mobilisation and organisation. During the visits, Nana K distributed bags of DINA GOLD rice and cooking oil to more than 100 polling station executives, as well as constituency Nasara coordinators, in recognition of their dedication and service.

Speaking during the engagements, Nana K underscored the importance of compassion, inclusiveness, and community support, especially during significant religious celebrations such as Eid al-Fitr. He noted that the gesture was not only to celebrate with the Muslim faithful but also to acknowledge their contributions to the growth of the party at the grassroots level.
The initiative was carried out under the auspices of the Ranis Foundation, an organisation led by Nana K that focuses on supporting communities through social interventions in education, welfare, and community development.

Residents and party members who received the items expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and reflective of the spirit of the season. The visits were characterised by warm interactions and messages of peace, unity, and mutual respect.
Nana K extended Eid Mubarak wishes to Muslims across the constituency and beyond, expressing hope that the season would bring joy, blessings, and strengthened bonds among communities.
