Security service recruitment forms were kept at NPP Party offices for their members – Hon Vincent Asare Bediako

Hon. Vincent Asare Bediako, former NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Offinso South, has alleged that recruitment forms for security services were not publicly sold during the tenure of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

Speaking on Kessben FM with Wofa Kofi Appiah, Bediako claimed that the forms were instead kept at NPP party offices and distributed mainly among party members.

According to him, the process limited access for the general public and created the perception that recruitment opportunities were reserved for individuals affiliated with the ruling party at the time.

He stressed that recruitment into national security services should be transparent and accessible to all qualified Ghanaians regardless of their political affiliation.

Bediako’s comments come amid ongoing public discussions about recruitment procedures and fairness in access to security service jobs in the country.
