Ghana’s problem not only politicians but failed leadership in all facets – Kennedy Kankam
Former Member of Parliament for Nyiaeso, Kennedy Kankam, has stated that Ghana’s challenges cannot be blamed solely on politicians, but rather on a broader failure of leadership across various sectors of society.
Speaking on Kessben FM with host Wofa Kofi Appiah, Mr. Kankam noted that the country’s difficulties stem from leadership gaps in many areas, including public institutions, private organizations, and community structures.
According to him, focusing blame only on political leaders ignores the responsibility of other stakeholders who also play significant roles in national development. He emphasized that effective leadership is required at every level of society to address Ghana’s socio-economic challenges.
Mr. Kankam further urged citizens and leaders alike to embrace accountability, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility in their respective roles. He added that national progress would depend on collective efforts to improve leadership standards across all sectors.
The former legislator’s remarks formed part of a broader conversation on governance, leadership, and the future direction of Ghana.
