NPP has been better than NDC in opposition, they are not lying as much as the NDC lied when they were in opposition – Kwasi Mensah 

Kwasi Mensah has asserted that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has conducted itself better in opposition compared to how the National Democratic Congress (NDC) behaved when it was out of power.

Speaking on Kessben FM’s Maakye morning show, Kwasi Mensah argued that the NPP has been more measured and truthful in its criticisms of the current government.

According to him, the NDC, during its time in opposition, frequently made claims that later proved to be inaccurate. He maintained that the NPP, on the other hand, has not resorted to the same level of misinformation.

“NPP has been better than the NDC in opposition. They are not lying as much as the NDC did when they were in opposition,” he stated during the discussion.

Kwasi Mensah urged political actors to focus on constructive criticism and policy-based debates rather than spreading misinformation, stressing that honest political engagement is essential for strengthening Ghana’s democracy.
