Garbage falling off the streets & more: Fante Quoo calls for night operations for Aboboyaa refuse collection

Host of Kessben Drive, Fante Quoo has advised operators of tricycles, popularly known as aboboyaa, used for refuse collection, to carry out their activities at night to help maintain cleanliness and safety on the streets.

Speaking on his show on Kessben FM, Fante Quoo noted that waste collectors who use aboboyaa to transport refuse should consider operating during nighttime hours when traffic and pedestrian movement are minimal. According to him, this would reduce congestion and help ensure smoother waste transportation.

He also cautioned drivers to be extremely careful when conveying refuse to disposal sites. Fante Quoo stressed that operators must properly secure the garbage they carry to prevent it from falling onto the streets while the tricycles are in motion.

He explained that scattered waste on roads not only creates an unpleasant environment but also poses health and safety risks to residents and motorists.

Fante Quoo therefore called on aboboyaa operators and waste collectors to adopt responsible practices to help keep communities clean and improve sanitation in towns and cities.
