Fante Quoo urges night-time repairs of faulty traffic lights to reduce congestion/traffic in town
Fante Quoo has called on city authorities to repair faulty traffic lights at night to help reduce traffic congestion in major towns.
Speaking on his program on Kessben FM, Fante Quoo noted that malfunctioning traffic lights are contributing significantly to heavy traffic in busy areas, especially during peak hours.
According to him, carrying out repairs during the daytime worsens the situation because it disrupts the normal flow of vehicles and leads to long queues on major roads.
“Faulty traffic lights must be repaired at night to curb more traffic in town,” he said, explaining that nighttime maintenance would allow technicians to work without interfering with daily traffic movement.
He therefore urged the relevant road and traffic management authorities to adopt a night-repair strategy to ensure that traffic signals are fixed promptly while minimizing inconvenience to commuters.
Fante Quoo added that efficient traffic management is essential for improving transportation within the city and easing the daily burden faced by drivers and passengers.
