Shatta Wale Is My Son” – Ogunskale Drops Bombshell Claim

Ghanaian hiplife artiste Ogunskale has stirred controversy after publicly declaring that dancehall star Shatta Wale is his son.

In an interview on Kessben FM drive time program, Ogunskale revealed that his relationship with Shatta Wale dates back several years, insisting the bond between them is deeper than many may have assumed.

According to him, Shatta Wale has always shown him respect, stressing that, “This was not a disrespect; he calls me daddy whenever he meets me.”

The hiplife veteran recounted their musical history together, noting that Shatta Wale featured on their second album dubbed “Shake Your Body Body.”

He added that they worked on the song “Honey Honey” together and that in 2010, Shatta Wale performed the intro for one of their projects titled “On Fire.”

Ogunskale further disclosed that they toured together after returning from America and revealed that their connection even predates their rise in the music industry.

He stated that Shatta Wale attended Winneba Secondary School (WINESEC), while he attended Apam Secondary School (APASS), claiming he was Shatta’s senior during inter-school competitions.

“I was in Fun-World, Kidafest with ‘Tinny,’” he added, referencing his early involvement in the entertainment scene.

 

He also extended warm appreciation to a supporter identified as “Stonebwoy” for what he described as incredible support.

The claim has since generated conversations among fans, with many awaiting a response from Shatta Wale regarding the bold declaration.

As of the time of filing this report, Shatta Wale has not publicly commented on the matter.
