NDC should cut the bluff of “dollar has come”, Things are expensive out there and people are bleeding. – Kennedy Kankam
Former Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, Kennedy Kankam, has called on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to be measured in its commentary about the economy, insisting that the high cost of living remains a major concern for Ghanaians.
Speaking on Kessben FM in an interview with host Wofa Kofi Appiah, the former lawmaker urged the opposition party to “cut the bluff” regarding claims about improvements in the dollar’s performance.
“NDC should cut the bluff of ‘the dollar has come.’ Things are expensive out there,” he stated during the discussion.
Kankam argued that despite conversations about currency stability, many Ghanaians continue to grapple with rising prices of goods and services. According to him, economic discussions must reflect the realities on the ground rather than political rhetoric.
He emphasized the need for practical solutions to ease the burden on citizens, adding that leaders across the political divide must focus on policies that directly address the cost of living.
