The Founding President and CEO of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, says President John Dramani Mahama has delivered on some of his major campaign promises, particularly in the area of fiscal management.

In a zoom meeting with Nana Frimpong Ziega on Kessben TV’s Digest, Mr. Cudjoe reiterated, signs of fiscal discipline under the Mahama administration are evident and have contributed positively to the country’s economic outlook.

“Some of the major promises of President Mahama have been delivered. Fiscal discipline has proven positive,” he noted.

However, the IMANI boss stressed that several key commitments remain outstanding and require urgent attention.

He cited the integration of early childhood ICT policy as one of the critical areas yet to see full implementation.

Additionally, he observed that the promised sign language initiative has not materialised.

Mr. Cudjoe also pointed to youth-focused interventions that are still pending, including the President’s pledge to help young people access land for commercial farming.

He further mentioned the much-talked-about Adwumawura initiative, noting that it is yet to manifest in tangible terms.

While acknowledging progress made so far, Mr. Cudjoe urged government to expedite action on these outstanding promises to ensure inclusive development, particularly for young people and vulnerable groups.
