Kennedy Agyapong is not breaking away from the NPP, Bawumia campaign coordinator Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu confirms he has a meeting coming up
The Campaign Coordinator for Mahamudu Bawumia, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, has dismissed claims that Kennedy Agyapong is planning to break away from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Speaking on Kessben FM with host Wofa Kofi Appiah, Mr. Mensah Bonsu stated emphatically that Mr. Agyapong remains committed to the party and its internal reconciliation processes.
He explained that ongoing reconciliation talks within the NPP are aimed at fostering unity following internal contests and disagreements. According to him, suggestions that Kennedy Agyapong intends to form or join another political movement are unfounded.
Mr. Mensah Bonsu further revealed that a meeting with Kennedy Agyapong is scheduled in the coming days as part of efforts to strengthen party cohesion ahead of future political activities.
He expressed optimism that dialogue and mutual respect would reinforce unity within the party.
