NPP Elders Laud Osei-Owusu for Successful 2026 Presidential Primaries

The National Council of Elders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has commended Hon. Osei-Owusu and the Presidential Elections Committee for the successful conduct of the party’s 2026 Presidential Primaries.

“The process was conducted in a free, orderly, and transparent manner, devoid of disputes or grievances from any of the aspirants or their supporters,” the Council noted, attributing this to the diligence, integrity, and competence with which the Committee discharged its mandate.

The National Council of Elders also commended Osei-Owusu for his responsiveness and respect for institutional counsel, particularly his readiness to engage the Council and openness to advice and guidance.

“The smooth and peaceful conduct of the primaries has once again demonstrated the strength of the New Patriotic Party’s internal democratic processes and has further reinforced unity and confidence within the Party,” the Council stated.
