If President Mahama does not sack Randy Abbey, the disgrace that will fall  upon the NDC Government will be too much – Kwasi Mensah

Kwasi Mensah has called on the President to dismiss Randy Abbey from his role as CEO of Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD).

Speaking passionately during the broadcast, Kwasi Mensah warned that failure to take decisive action could bring what he described as “serious disgrace” upon the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.

According to him, leadership at COCOBOD must reflect accountability and strong management, especially at a time when Ghana’s cocoa sector faces significant economic pressures.

He argued that the cocoa industry remains a backbone of the Ghanaian economy and that any perceived mismanagement or controversy surrounding its leadership could have far-reaching political and economic consequences.

Kwasi Mensah stressed that protecting the image of the government should not override the need for what he termed “bold and corrective decisions.”.
