From cocobod issues to Teacher and Nursing trainee wahala, Ghanaians have sold their coloured TV for Black and white for voting for the NDC – Dr Keskine Owusu Opoku

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Keskine Owusu Opoku, has expressed strong disappointment in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government over what he describes as growing challenges across key sectors of the country.
Speaking on Kessben Maakye with Wofa Kofi Appiah, Dr. Opoku said that “from COCOBOD issues to teacher and nursing trainee wahala, Ghanaians have sold their coloured TV for black and white.” He used the metaphor to suggest that, in his view, the country has moved backwards instead of progressing under the current administration.
Touching on concerns surrounding the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD), as well as matters affecting teacher and nursing trainees, Dr. Opoku argued that expectations for improvement have not been met. He claimed that policies and management decisions in these sectors have left many citizens frustrated.
