Fake Election Prophecies: God wanted to disgrace some prophets – Pastor Prince Sarpong

Pastor Prince Sarpong of Emmanuel A/G Church in Kumasi Stadium has criticized the rise of fake election prophecies, stating that some self-styled prophets were deliberately exposed.
Speaking on Kessben Drive with host Fante Quoo on Kessben FM, the pastor remarked that “God wanted to disgrace some prophets” whose election predictions failed to materialize.
According to Pastor Sarpong Emmanuel, the recent election period revealed how prophecy has been misused by certain religious figures for attention, influence, or political relevance. He stressed that true prophecy must come from God and be handled with responsibility, humility, and fear of God, not as a tool to excite the public or push partisan agendas.
He further urged Christians to develop spiritual discernment and avoid blindly accepting every prophecy shared on radio, television, or social media.
The pastor warned that false prophecies can confuse believers, undermine faith, and bring Christianity into disrepute.
