NPP’s Dr. Sammy Crabbe Congratulates Dr. Bawumia, Calls for Party Unity Ahead of 2028
Dr. Sammy Crabbe, a prominent member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has extended his congratulations to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on his victory in the party’s presidential primaries. In a statement, Crabbe emphasized the need for party unity and inclusivity as the NPP prepares for the 2028 general elections.
“We must unite behind Dr. Bawumia for victory in 2028,” Crabbe said, urging party members to come together behind their chosen leader. He also commended other candidates, including Kennedy Agyapong and Dr. Bryan Acheampong, for their spirited contests, which he said strengthened the party’s internal democracy.
Crabbe, who is seeking the position of National Chairman, outlined his vision for rebuilding the party and regaining competitiveness, particularly in key regions like Greater Accra. “To win nationally, we must stabilise Ashanti, regain competitiveness in Accra, and strengthen the party across all regions,” he stated.
The NPP hopeful thanked the Ghana Police Service and the Electoral Commission for ensuring a peaceful and credible process, and urged party members to rally behind Dr. Bawumia for a victorious 2028 campaign.
