Bawumia’s ideas have created 1 million jobs, how can you compare that to someone who’s thinking about a factory that will create only 7000 jobs – Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu
Former Member of Parliament for Suame, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, has urged delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to rally behind former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the party’s upcoming presidential primaries, citing his proven track record in job creation.
According to the former Majority Leader, policies and ideas championed by Dr. Bawumia have already led to the creation of over one million jobs across various sectors of the economy.
He argued that this tangible impact sets Bawumia apart from competitors whose proposals, while promising, remain largely theoretical.
Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu questioned comparisons being made between Bawumia and others who are still “thinking about a factory” projected to create about 7,000 jobs. He stressed that leadership should be judged by results, not just intentions, and described Bawumia’s achievements as evidence of innovative thinking translated into real economic opportunities for Ghanaians.
He therefore called on NPP delegates to consider competence, experience, and measurable outcomes when casting their votes, emphasizing that Dr. Bawumia’s record makes him the strongest candidate to lead the party into the next general election.
