Kennedy Agyapong has not said anywhere that if he does not win the NPP flagbearer, the party will collapse – Agya Koo
Kumawood actor Agya Koo, who is also a member of Kennedy Agyapong’s campaign team, has dismissed claims that the former Assin Central MP has suggested the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would collapse if he fails to win the party’s flagbearership race.
Speaking on Kessben FM with KOD, Agya Koo said Kennedy Agyapong has never stated anywhere that the future of the NPP depends solely on his victory.
He described such assertions as misinterpretations and misinformation being circulated in the public space, stressing that Kennedy Agyapong remains a committed party man.
He explained that while Kennedy Agyapong is confident and passionate about his vision for the party, he has always emphasized unity and progress within the NPP, regardless of the outcome of the contest. Agya Koo added that the campaign’s focus is on ideas, accountability, and strengthening the party ahead of national elections.
Agya Koo urged party supporters and the general public to rely on verified statements rather than rumours, emphasizing that internal unity remains crucial for the NPP’s success.
