Hon Asenso Boakye reveals 2 reasons why he support Dr Bawumia
Speaking on Kessben FM with host Wofa Kofi Appiah, former Works and Housing Minister Francis Asenso Boakye outlined two key reasons behind his public declaration of support for former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to be voted as the NPP flagbearer.
According to Asenso Boakye, his first reason is rooted in electability. He expressed confidence that Dr. Bawumia is the candidate best positioned to win political power for the party.
In his view, Bawumia’s national appeal, track record in government, and connection with a broad spectrum of voters give him a strong advantage in a competitive election.
His second reason, Asenso Boakye noted, is leadership and competence. He described Dr. Bawumia as someone with the vision, integrity, and technical understanding needed to be a good president who can drive Ghana’s development.
He emphasized Bawumia’s grasp of economic and governance issues, arguing that these qualities are crucial for addressing the country’s challenges and moving Ghana forward.
