Don’t put in your head that you are helping your partner so he/she will later help you, Perform your responsibilities & rely on God – Rev Vincent Kankam

Rev. Vincent Kankam has delivered a timely and thought-provoking message on his show on Kessben FM, urging people to change the mindset with which they approach relationships and responsibilities.
According to him, individuals should not condition their support for their partners on the expectation of future rewards or assistance.
“Don’t put it in your mind that you are helping your partner so that he or she will help you,” Rev. Kankam advised. He emphasized that such thinking turns love, marriage, and partnership into transactions rather than genuine commitments built on duty, sacrifice, and faith.
Rev. Kankam encouraged couples and individuals to focus on performing their responsibilities sincerely and faithfully, without keeping records of what they give or do. In his view, when people act with the sole aim of pleasing God rather than seeking human repayment, peace and fulfillment follow.
He further stressed that God is the ultimate rewarder. When one carries out their role with a pure heart and total reliance on God, blessings come at the right time and in the right way.
