Sheikh Kamal Mohammed has stated that God answered the prayers and cries of Ghanaians by bringing President John Dramani Mahama to lead the nation. He made this remark at the non-denominational Thanksgiving ceremony marking President Mahama’s one year in office.
According to the Sheikh, the improvement in the cost of living is evident in the lives of ordinary citizens. He noted that during the recent Christmas festivities, many Ghanaians were able to buy essential items such as chicken, cooking oil, and tomatoes with just 200 Ghana cedis, something he described as a sign of relief and restored dignity for families.
Sheikh Kamal Mohammed emphasized that economic stability and affordability of basic necessities are clear indicators of responsive leadership.
He urged Ghanaians to remain thankful and united, while continuing to pray for the President and the nation.
The thanksgiving service brought together people of different faiths, highlighting national unity and gratitude for what speakers described as a positive turnaround under President Mahama’s leadership.
