Over 500 Widows and Orphans Benefit from KAAF University Charity Outreach in Mankessim Nkwanta

In a heart-warming gesture, Mrs. Theresa Adusei Peasah Aidoo, Pro Vice Chancellor of KAAF University, has donated to widows, orphans and children at Mankessim Nkwanta, in the Mfantseman Municipality in the Central Region spreading joy and hope to those in need. The donation is part of the University’s annual giving program, which was made possible through a collaboration with the Queen mother of the community, following a request from her.

“We’re committed to making a positive impact in our community,” Mrs. Aidoo said, emphasizing the importance of giving back.

The gifts included 5kg bags of rice, material cloth, soup, mackerel, full live chickens, and other goodies for the widows, while the orphans were treated to a meal. Over 500 widows, orphans and children of Nkwanta benefited from this donation

She also accepted a pledge made by Nananom of Mankessim Nkwanta of given the youth scholarship slots to KAAF University

Mrs Theresa Adusei Peasah Aidoo emphasis that, management of the University have over the years given scholarship to many brilliant by needy students the opportunity to acquire knowledge irrespective of your background

Nana Yaa Nyakoah (II), Queenmother of Mankessim Nkwanta, praised the collaboration: “This partnership with KAAF University has taken our annual donation to a new level.” She appealed to investors to create job opportunities for the youth.

Some of the Widows who received the items said, “We’re grateful for the support; it will help us take care of the children.”

“The kindness has brought smiles to our faces; thank you KAAF University and Queenmother.”

This donation is a blessing; we really needed it.”
