If you die, people will eat buffet at your funeral, Don’t take things like the World Cup here on earth, celebrate life & give thanks – Sofo Kankam

As the year draws to a close, Rev. Vincent Kankam has offered a timely reminder to the general public. Speaking on his show on Kessben FM, he encouraged people not to take events like the World too seriously, but instead to focus on enjoying life, celebrating the journey, and giving thanks to God.

According to Rev. Kankam, global events and competitions come and go, but life itself is precious and far more important. While sports can bring excitement, unity, and entertainment, he cautioned against allowing such events to create unnecessary stress, conflict, or division among people. “Your life is worth more than any trophy,” he emphasized.

He urged listeners to use the end of the year as a moment of reflection, to look back with gratitude for the protection, opportunities, and lessons received throughout the year. For many, surviving the year alone is a testimony worth celebrating.

Rev. Vincent Kankam also encouraged families and individuals to cherish time together, make peace where needed, and enter the new year with hope and faith. Above all, he reminded everyone to thank God for life, good health, and the strength to move forward.
