Amasaman China Mall Shut Down Over Safety Concerns After Collapse Injures Several

The Ga West Municipal Assembly has ordered the immediate closure of the Amasaman China Mall following a serious incident on Sunday, December 28, 2025, where a section of the first floor collapsed, injuring customers and workers.

A joint team found the mall’s safety compromised, posing risks to lives and property. “In the interest of public safety, the mall will remain closed until safety deficiencies are addressed,” the Assembly stated.

Injured individuals are receiving care, and authorities urge compliance with the closure directive.
