Where I live is not that good, so people think I’m mad while doing my philanthropic works – Manso Daatano based Philanthropist, Nana Agyei Sikapa

Nana Agyei Sikapa, a philanthropist from Manso Daatano has shared a deeply personal reflection on public perception and sacrifice during an interview with KOD on Kessben FM. According to him, many people wrongly judge him as “mad” simply because of where and how he chooses to live.

Speaking candidly, he explained that his living conditions do not reflect his values or intentions, but rather his decision to prioritize helping others over personal comfort. Despite limited resources and constant criticism, he remains committed to supporting people in his community, especially those who are vulnerable and often overlooked.

He noted that society is quick to judge based on appearances, without understanding the purpose behind someone’s choices. For him, living modestly allows him to give more to others, even if it means being misunderstood.
