Kpandai NDC executives deny bee attack during NDC meeting

NDC executives in the Kpandai Constituency have rejected rumors that a bee assault interrupted a party campaign gathering, calling them untrue and deceptive.
This comes after it was revealed on Sunday, December 14, 2025, that a bee attack on NDC supporters in the Kpandai District during a campaign resulted in one fatality.
A swarm of bees assaulted the deceased, who was described as a chief from one of the district’s communities, while he was riding a motorbike. In the subsequent panic
Gregory Anijadong, the Kpandai Constituency’s Communication Officer, told the media on Monday, December 15, 2025, that while a tragic tragedy happened that day, it had nothing to do with the party’s meeting.
He claims that after the meeting, a person who wasn’t an NDC official died in a car accident that allegedly involved bees on the way home.
The party clarified that the dead had previously represented his community leader at a separate meeting called by Nana Atorsah Bristiam Okori II, the overlord of Kpandai.
The statement emphasized that “bees did not disrupt the NDC meeting, as has been falsely reported.”
In order to ascertain the facts, the party has demanded that the Ghana Police Service carry out a comprehensive inquiry into the incident and make the results public.Travel guide to Ghana
Given the location’s close proximity to important public facilities like the district court, the police commander’s home, and a significant resort, the NDC further voiced concern over reports that bees are being raised in the area and urged the person involved, if confirmed, to take the appropriate safety precautions.
