It’s early days yet to conclude that President Mahama has done well or not – Dr Richard Anane

Former Health Minister, Dr. Richard Anane, has cautioned the public against rushing to judge the performance of President John Dramani Mahama, noting that it is still too early to draw definitive conclusions about his leadership.

Speaking on Kessben TV, Dr. Anane emphasized that President Mahama has not even spent a full year in office, making it premature to label his administration as either successful or unsuccessful. According to him, governance outcomes require time to materialize, and meaningful assessment should be based on long-term policies and their impact rather than early perceptions.

Dr. Anane’s comments come amid growing public debate over the direction of the government and the pace of development initiatives. He urged Ghanaians to exercise patience and allow the president and his team adequate time to implement their agenda.

He further stressed the importance of objective evaluation, encouraging citizens and political commentators to focus on facts and results as they emerge, rather than engaging in partisan judgments.
