Overstressing spiritual matters is the cause of too many fake prophets in Ghana – Sofo Condemn
Outspoken Ghanaian preacher Pastor Kakyire, popularly known as Sofo Condemn, has attributed the alarming rise of fake prophets in Ghana to what he describes as the nation’soverstress and overdependence on spiritual matters.
According to Sofo Condemn, many Ghanaians have developed a habit of seeking spiritual explanations for every challenge, whether economic, health-related, or personal, creating fertile ground for impostors who take advantage of their vulnerability.
Speaking on Kessben FM with Fante Quoo, he argued that the excessive belief in supernatural solutions has weakened critical thinking and opened doors for manipulation.
He emphasized that when people place spiritual authority above logic, knowledge, and personal effort, they become easy prey for individuals posing as prophets, pastors, and miracle workers.
Sofo Condemn further urged Ghanaians to balance faith with common sense, education, and practical solutions to avoid falling victim to deceptive religious figures.
