Only 20% of happy marriages exist in Ghana – Sofo Condemn
Popular Ghanaian preacher, Pastor Kakyire, widely known as Sofo Condemn, has stirred conversation after claiming that only 20% of marriages in Ghana can be described as truly happy.
He made this assertion during an interview on Kessben FM’s Drive Show with host Fante Quoo.
According to Sofo Condemn, many couples appear united in public but privately struggle with deep emotional disconnect and unresolved conflicts. He noted that financial pressure, infidelity, poor communication, and unrealistic expectations continue to undermine marital stability in the country.
The outspoken pastor added that many couples stay together for the sake of children or societal expectations rather than genuine love and happiness.
Regardless of the controversy, Sofo Condemn’s remarks have reignited national conversations about the state of marriage, mental health, and relationship expectations in modern Ghana.
