After Daddy Lumba’s death, It has now become very important to find out who your Abuasuapanin is – Head of Programs at Kessben TV, Sammy Adu Boakye

The Head of Programs at Kessben TV, Sammy Adu Boakye, commenting on the recent controversies circulating around Daddy Lumba and issues involving family representation, stressed that, in light of the disputes and public confusion that have emerged, it has become more important than ever for individuals to know exactly who their Abusuapanin, their family head, is.
According to him, many of the misunderstandings and public exchanges seen in the ongoing conversation surrounding Daddy Lumba’s name and matters involving his family could have been avoided if traditional family structures were clearly understood and respected. He suggested that poor communication and unclear leadership within family systems often lead to unnecessary tension in the public domain.
Sammy Adu Boakye, speaking with DJ KA on Kessben FM, specifically pointed to Lumba’s Abusuapanin and Papa Shee as key figures whose actions and statements have played a role in fueling the controversy. He argued that when issues arise without a well-defined family leader to provide guidance and clarity, they can quickly escalate into public drama.
He emphasized that the role of the Abusuapanin in Ghanaian tradition is not merely symbolic, it is central to resolving disputes, coordinating decisions, and maintaining peace within the family, especially when sensitive matters attract public attention.
