Wassa Amenfi Central District Assembly Invites Community to 41st National Farmers’ Day Celebration
The Wassa Amenfi Central District Assembly is gearing up for a grand celebration as it hosts the 41st National Farmers’ Day Anniversary on December 5, 2025. The event, themed “Feed Ghana, Eat Ghana, Secure the Future,” aims to honor the tireless efforts of farmers in the district and beyond.
The celebration promises to be a momentous occasion, with distinguished guests including former President John Dramani Mahama, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, and Hon. Peter Amponsah, DCE for Amenfi Central, expected to attend.
The event will take place at the Amuni Durbar Grounds from 9:00 AM, bringing together community members, farmers, and stakeholders to recognize the vital role agriculture plays in Ghana’s development.
This year’s celebration is particularly significant, as it highlights the importance of supporting local farmers and promoting food security.
