MOGPA turned my life around during my weed-smoking days, Rev OB taught me how to speak one-on-one with God in prayers – Akabenezer

Popular Kumawood actor and skit maker Akabenezer, widely known as Dr Likee, has shared an emotional testimony about how the Moments of Glory Prayer Army (MOGPA) transformed his life during one of his darkest seasons.

According to him, there was a time when he struggled deeply and lived a lifestyle that offered him no real direction or peace.

“MOGPA turned my life around when I was a weed smoker. Rev. OB taught me how to speak one-on-one with God,” he revealed, crediting the ministry for guiding him into a personal relationship with God.

Dr Likee explained that his connection with MOGPA spans many years. He recalled following the ministry faithfully from its early gatherings in Adum, through the vibrant prayer meetings at the Cultural Center, and now to the powerful sessions at the new Nfensi Prayer Center, where he says his spiritual growth took a deeper turn.

He emphasized that Rev. OB’s teachings helped him understand that God was not distant or unreachable, but someone he could communicate with personally.
“Learning how to talk to God changed everything. My mindset changed, my habits changed, my whole life changed,” he said.

Today, the celebrated actor uses his influence not only to entertain but also to inspire, reminding the youth that transformation is possible for anyone who seeks God sincerely.
