DI WO HO NKOMO: Focus on your issues & stop badmouthing your colleagues to your bosses – Rev. Vincent Kankam advises ‘Konkonsa workers’
Rev. Vincent Kankam has issued a strong reminder to workers and professionals about integrity and workplace ethics, urging them to stop tarnishing the reputation of their colleagues in an attempt to look good before their superiors.
Speaking on his show on Kessben FM, the Reverend emphasized that progress at work should be built on honesty, competence, and personal accountability, not on tearing others down.
According to Rev. Kankam, many employees resort to complaining about or discrediting their co-workers, hoping to win favour with their bosses. He described the habit as destructive, unethical, and ultimately counterproductive.
“Talk about your issues and stop talking bad about your colleagues to your bosses,” he cautioned. He explained that such behaviour weakens teamwork, breeds mistrust, and undermines the healthy environment every workplace needs to grow.
Rev. Kankam further encouraged individuals to address their own shortcomings rather than projecting blame onto others. He noted that true professionalism requires humility, self-reflection, and the maturity to resolve conflicts directly instead of involving management unnecessarily.
