Sua Nyansa Movement calls on Regional Minister Dr Amoakohene for support ahead of their sanitation and health walk program

The Sua Nyansa Movement, a team of young advocates committed to promoting fairness and discipline within the Kumasi transport system, is appealing to the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Amoakohene, for assistance as they prepare for a major Sanitation and Health Walk scheduled for 30th November 2025.
The group, known for its community-focused initiatives and its efforts to ensure transparency among transport operators, says the upcoming event is part of a broader campaign to improve public health and cleanliness in the Kumasi metropolis.
According to the leadership of the movement, the walk will bring together hundreds of young volunteers, transport sector stakeholders, and community members to clean major parts of the city while educating the public on sanitation practices and personal health.
To make the event successful, the Sua Nyansa Movement is pleading for equipment and logistical support from the Regional Minister. Items requested include sanitation tools, safety gear, hydration supplies, and transportation support for volunteers.
The group will converge at the Manhyia Palace, a symbolic starting point that represents unity and tradition, before embarking on the sanitation exercise and the health walk through selected routes within Kumasi.
The organizers say they are hopeful that the Regional Minister will respond positively to their call, emphasizing that government support will not only strengthen their work but also contribute significantly to maintaining a cleaner and healthier city for all.
