The last course before graduation as a witch is greediness – Prophet Odanka
Appearing as a guest on the inspirational radio programme hosted by Rev. Vincent Kankam, Pr. Odanka used this metaphor to highlight the destructive nature of greed in both spiritual and social life.
He explained that greed is often the final step in a person’s moral downfall, the point at which one’s pursuit of self-interest overshadows compassion, humility, and righteousness.
According to Prophet Odanka, greed not only destroys individuals but also erodes the very fabric of community life. A greedy heart, he said, opens the door to darkness.
It blinds you to truth, pushes you to exploit others, and ultimately separates you from the light of God.”
Greed is often defined as an insatiable desire for more, more wealth, more power, more acclaim, without regard for communal good, justice, or one’s own inner well-being.
