Ghana’s Passport Application Fee Reduced to GHS 350

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced a reduction in passport application fees from GHS 500 to GHS 350, effective November 13, 2025. This move aims to make the passport application process more accessible and affordable for Ghanaians.

The new passport features advanced security measures, including a chip-embedded technology and an e-tracking system, ensuring efficient and secure delivery. Applicants can expect to receive their passports within 15 days, with 24-hour operations and courier delivery services available.
