Quick-tempered people do not live long, Don’t be proud if you are one & change for your own good – Rev. Vincent Kankam

Rev. Kankam has explained that being quick-tempered is not a sign of strength or boldness, as some people believe, but rather a weakness that can destroy one’s peace, relationships, and even health.

He said many people are proud of being hot-headed but such pride is dangerous. Anger wears down the body and the soul. It ruins friendships, families, and opportunities.”

He added that medical and spiritual wisdom both affirm that constant anger and stress can shorten a person’s life.

“Quick-tempered people do not live long because their hearts and minds are always troubled,” he noted. “A peaceful heart brings life, but an angry spirit brings destruction.”

Rev. Kankam encouraged listeners to work on their temper, seek calmness, and embrace patience. He urged everyone to pray for self-control and practice forgiveness daily. “Change for your own good,” he emphasized. “Learn to be gentle and slow to anger. That is how you protect your health, your happiness, and your future.”
