Denmark, Ghana Deepen Economic Cooperation – Danish Ambassador Meets Trade Minister

Ghana and Denmark have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral trade and investment relations, following a courtesy call by the Danish Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Jakob Linulf, on the Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare.
The meeting, held at the Ministry on Wednesday 5th November in Accra, focused on exploring new areas of collaboration in sustainable industrial development, agribusiness, renewable energy, and technology transfer.
Hon. Ofosu-Adjare commended Denmark for its continued partnership with Ghana in promoting inclusive economic growth and capacity building. She assured that government remains dedicated to creating a business-friendly environment that attracts foreign investment and accelerates Ghana’s industrial transformation.
Ambassador Linulf, for his part, expressed Denmark’s readiness to further enhance economic cooperation with Ghana in ways that align with both countries’ sustainable development goals.
He described Ghana as a strategic partner in West Africa and said Denmark looks forward to deepening trade ties through joint ventures and knowledge exchange.
The two sides also discussed the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Denmark and the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry to formalize future collaboration.
Their discussions further highlighted Denmark’s support for Ghana’s green transition agenda and innovation-driven trade initiatives, underscoring the shared vision of both nations for resilient and sustainable economic growth.
